Integrations/Google Calendar

Walk into every call prepared

Connect your calendar with read-only access, and each session starts knowing who is on the call, what it is about, and where you left things with these people last time.

Read-only. Connect from the desktop app or from your account page on the web.

One meeting with the calendar connected

01

Before the call

Your agenda sits in the overlay with a Join button. Join opens the call and starts listening, and the session already knows the meeting's name and who was invited.

02

As it starts

You get a short brief from earlier sessions with the same people or the same recurring meeting: where you left things, what they asked for, and what you promised.

03

Afterwards

Names are spelled the way the invite spells them, the recap knows who owns each action item, and the session files itself under that client's project.

Work memory

The calendar is how Assistly knows who is who

A transcript hears voices, and the invite knows names. Together they turn each session into memory about people and accounts, not just words.

  • Read-only. Assistly asks for read access to your events and nothing else. It never creates, edits, or deletes anything on your calendar.
  • Who, not just when. The invite list is how Assistly knows who was on the call, which is what lets transcripts and recaps get names right instead of guessing.
  • Memory that knows the meeting. A session started from a calendar event knows which meeting it is, so “last time with Acme” means the actual last time, and another client's history never loads into the call.
  • Disconnect any time. From Integrations in the app, or from your account page on the web. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens right away.

Set up once

  1. 01

In Assistly, open the account menu, then Calendar, and press Connect Google Calendar. Google asks you to allow read-only access once.

  2. 02

Your agenda appears in the panel and in the meetings dock on the command bar. Press Join on a meeting to open it and start listening.

  3. 03

That's it. Briefs, roster-aware names, and project filing happen on their own.
