Assistly Solo
Lifetime license · one computer
See it work
Someone asks you a question. A reply you can say is on your screen before you've finished thinking, written on your own computer. Turn the Wi-Fi off and it keeps going.
Dana · Interviewer
So what's your notice period, and when could you realistically start?
My notice period is four weeks, so I could start at the beginning of next month.
Who it's for
The answer to the question you were just asked, in your own words, while you're still on camera.
Pricing, objections and next steps, the moment the question lands.
Calls that shouldn't touch anyone's cloud. With local answers, nothing leaves your computer.
Trains, planes, hotel networks. Once it's set up, Solo works without a connection.
What you get
Your mic and the call's own audio are turned into a live transcript on your computer. No audio leaves it.
Cue, our question-detection model, runs on your machine and spots the moment a question is yours to answer.
A local model, sized to your computer, writes a short answer in your own voice from your profile and the conversation.
Ask about what's in front of you. The model looks at a screenshot, read on your computer and never uploaded. With your own cloud model, the screenshot goes to that model instead.
After a one-time license check and model download, it runs without an internet connection.
Just a license key. Nothing to sign up for, nothing synced to a server, nothing to cancel.

Solo or Assistly?
Solo is deliberately one app on one computer. There's no dashboard and nothing syncs: your sessions stay on the machine that recorded them. If you want your history everywhere, integrations or your phone, Assistly is the better fit.

The on-device edition of Assistly for one computer. It transcribes your call, catches the questions you're asked and writes an answer you can say, with every model running on your machine. You pay once and it's yours for life.
You pay $199 once and your license never expires. No subscription, no renewal, no yearly fee. Updates to Assistly Solo are included, and they install themselves.
Solo is a single app on a single computer with no account. There is no web dashboard, nothing syncs between devices, there are no integrations, modes library or projects, and it doesn't run on your phone. Your sessions live only on that computer. If you need those, Assistly Free or Pro is the better fit.
Yes. $199 once. There's no renewal, no trial that turns into a charge, and no card kept on file. If you connect your own OpenRouter account for cloud answers, OpenRouter bills you for that directly; Solo itself never charges you again.
A license works on one computer at a time. Getting a new one? Open Settings ▸ License ▸ Release this computer, then activate the key on the new machine. A key can move a few times a month.
Yes, once it's set up. Activation and the model download need the internet once. After that it checks the license again occasionally when you're online, and keeps working for up to three weeks without a connection.
macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon (M1 or newer), or Windows 10 or 11 on a 64-bit processor with AVX2. 8 GB of memory is recommended, and the models take about 2 to 8 GB of disk depending on the one picked for your computer.
By default, nowhere: audio, transcripts, answers and your screen are processed and stored on your computer. If you connect your own OpenRouter account, what the answer model works from (the question, recent transcript, summaries and screenshots) goes to the model you picked; speech-to-text stays local either way. Solo also checks its license now and then, and sends crash reports that never include what was said.
Solo is a one-time purchase and all sales are final, like Assistly Pro (see our refund policy). If something isn't working on your computer, email support@tryassistly.com and we'll help you get it running.
Lifetime access · $199 once · No subscription
Get your license key straight away (we email it too), download Solo for macOS or Windows and paste the key. That's the whole setup, and it's yours for good.
