Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on tryassistly.com and the web app at app.tryassistly.com, both run by Zigzag Technologies. We use none for advertising. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.
1. Strictly necessary
These make the sites work and do not need your consent.

2. Analytics, only if you accept
We use PostHog (United States) to understand how the sites are used. Requests go through our own address, e.tryassistly.com, to PostHog. Until you choose, and if you decline, PostHog sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Visits are still counted without cookies, using a daily hash on the server that does not identify you over time. If you accept, PostHog sets the storage below and records pages viewed and the buttons and links you use. It may also record the session (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and page layout) so we can find broken or confusing screens. What you type into forms is always masked, and in the web app all page text is masked too, so recordings never contain your meetings, transcripts or answers. PostHog’s AI tools may review these masked recordings for us to spot errors and frustration. Nothing is recorded if you decline.

3. Embedded video
The product film on the homepage loads nothing from YouTube until you press play. It then loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube’s own policies apply to what it sets.
4. Third-party pages
Checkout runs on Stripe’s pages, and signing in with Google or Apple runs on theirs. Those services set their own cookies under their own policies.
5. Changing your choice
On this website, use the Cookie preferences link in the footer. In the web app, go to Settings → Your data → Cookie preferences. You can change your mind at any time, and declining is as easy as accepting. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser.
